Q. Can anyone buy fireworks from SX Fireworks?
A. Yes anyone is welcome to purchase fireworks from us. All we ask is that you are over the age of 18.


Q. Why are you better than other firework retailers?
A. We are an online business so have minted overheads and can therefore provide fireworks at a better price. We are also the only local firework retailers who is able to offer click and collect and delivery services.


Q. When can I use fireworks?
A. The law says you must not set off or throw fireworks (including sparklers) in the street or other public places.
You must not set off fireworks between 11pm and 7am, except for:
Bonfire Night, when the cut off is midnight
New Year’s Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year, when the cut off is 1am


Q. What is your biggest and loudest firework?
A. This is a very common question, the answer is…. it depends. The biggest firework may not produce the biggest effect in the sky or the loudest noise. Check our videos to see what effect most impresses you and try our recommended favourites to see what we like the most. Do not presume the biggest is the best – although they are good.


Q. Do your fireworks have a best before date?
A. There is no shelf life on fireworks, if they are kept in a cool dry place they will last for years.


Q. When will my order be dispatched?
A. All orders are usually dispatched within 72 hours upon placing an order unless specified. You will receive an email and an SMS once it has been sent out for delivery.


Q. What are category 2, 3 and 4 fireworks?
A. Fireworks are put into different categories based on several factors including gunpowder level, size, weight and how far it ejects debris.
Category 2 and 3 fireworks are known as consumer fireworks. These are the ones available on the website. The former is also known as garden fireworks as it requires less safety space starting from 5 metres while Category 3 fireworks are known as display fireworks as they generally require at least 25 metres distance. Category 4 products are exclusively available to professionals and can be highly dangerous to the untrained.

A. Any modern Browser is recommended, Chrome, Edge, Firefox and similar should all work well and enable all features.
